About Us
Why We Exist!
Malaria remains one of Uganda’s leading public health challenges despite being preventable and treatable. Every year, millions of Ugandans are affected, with children under five years and pregnant women bearing the greatest burden.
CVAMU believes children are powerful agents of change. By equipping them with knowledge, leadership skills, and practical tools, they can influence healthier behaviours in homes, schools, and communities.
- Disproportionately affects children under five and pregnant women
- Reduces school attendance and learning outcomes.
- Places a significant economic burden on families and the country.
